The Chicago Chopin Society invites you to the Gala Concert “If Chopin met Paderewski …” and a banquet at the Holiday Inn Chicago North Shore, 5300 W. Touhy Ave., Skokie, Illinois. The event will take place on Saturday, March 7 at 18:30. During the concert, audience will have a chance listen to soprano Marlena Dzis, composer Jarosław Golembiowski, tenor Michał Sadowski, pianist Daniel Majcher and Lincolnwood Chamber Orchestra conducted by Philip Simmons.

Between the 20th and 28th of April the 31st edition of the Musica Polonica Nova Festival will take place in Wrocław. Andrew Caulfield is from Swinton in Manchester. There is probably no others such a fan of Polish jazz artist and singer Anna Maria Jopek, as Andrew. Until now Andrew has attended 19 performances and is planning to follow Anna Maria Jopek during her next tour. We talk with Andrew about Poland, Polish image in the world and more importantly his passion for Anna Maria Jopek and her music.
