FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland is the biggest and most important fashion event in Poland. International project created in 2009 takes place twice a year presenting trends for fall/winter in spring edition and spring/summer in fall edition. Vast range of accompanying events enables to create platform for establishing new contacts and exchanging experience between designers, journalists, buyers, critics, stylists, photographers, apparel companies’ representatives and fashion enthusiasts from all over the world. Mission of FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland is to build business awareness in Polish fashion industry and its promotion in Poland and abroad (among others in Berlin, Lisbon, Maastricht, Paris and Lviv as part of partnership).

Everyone can find something interesting during the FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland:

Designer Avenue is the essence of the project, cumulating best Polish designers and invited international guests. It is a presentation of about 30 premiere collections during 5 days of fashion shows with 1500 guests on each show.

OFF Out Of Schedule fashion shows is a presentation of most avant-garde, off collections showing new face of fashion. Experimenting and bold scene attracts numerous international media and focuses attention of the most important fashion critics. It is the most creative place of Polish fashion, appreciated by many international media representatives.

Studio is the latest project of FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland, that aims to patronize and promote young designers, whose projects were noticed by Program Council. Shows are often in individual scenery and non-standard form. Studio fashion show is an important step to Designer Avenue.

Collections shown in Designer Avenue, OFF Out Of Schedule and Studio are rated by FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland’s Program Council, that consists of top fashion magazines’ representatives, journalists, stylists and lecturers of higher arts education facilities.

Showroom is a professional space to present latest collections and establish business contacts. It is a place not only for designers and apparel companies, but also for producers and distributors of textiles, accessories and technology solutions for fashion industry. So far, over 500 companies and ateliers presented in Showroom, including top brands such as: Joanna Klimas, Łukasz Jemioł Basic, Aryton, Ipanema, Solar, Zalando, Orsay, Pawo, Allcomp, Adidas, Big Star, New Balance, Dr Martens, Levi’s.

Fashion Photographers Now is a photography exhibition presenting young photographers’ pieces. Their dream is to work in fashion industry. Fresh look and interesting frame emphasizes role of photos in fashion industry. Thanks to Fashion Photographers Now artists could make their debut in many magazines.

Every year the event is visited by several hundreds of people, including representatives of the Polish and international media, designers, businesspeople, celebrities and fashion enthusiasts.

Special guests of previous editions of FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland were: legendary designer Kenzo Takada, Slava Zaitsev, Stefan Siegel (Not Just a Label), Nuno Gama, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Custodio Dalmau (Custo Barcelona), Marios Schwab, Gaspard Yurkievich, Miguel Vieira, Chantal Thomass, Patrizia Gucci, Ivan Rodic, Iryna Vlade Kushniarevich (WGSN), Declan Echteld (Forbes USA), Nicolas Gregorie (World Fashion Chanel), Dina de Fina (Collezioni Donna).

FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland hosted also international Fashion Weeks and fashion magazines’ representatives such as: Alberto Caselli (Collezioni), Andrea Deanesi (Vogue Italia), Marcellous L. Jones (The Fashion Insider), Alexandre Beridze (InStyle Russia), Christin Arp (VOGUE), Adrien Pelattier (L’Officiel), Kinga Horvat (InStyle Hungary), Lorenzo Molina (Sportswear International), Marcellous L. Jones (The Fashion Insider).

It demonstrates the international scale of the event whose strategic partner is the City of Łódź, actively involved in the organisation of the whole venture. Łódź is a city with textile heritage and magnicent, 19th century post-factory buildings, where many accompanying events take place.
