The increase in exports, despite the Russian embargo. Beginning of the year did not allow for a positive outlook for Polish exports. Meanwhile, despite declines in trade with Russia this year at the level of approx. 30 percent y / y, the falling exchange with this country has not broken Polish exports. Moreover, from January to October 2015. Polish exports increased by 7 percent y / y. Russia’s share in the total Polish exports, a year ago at 4.4 percent has reduced to only 2.9 percent. Polish boats in the Bahamas. This year the inconspicuous Bahamas turned out to be the big surprise, as the country jumped to first place in the ranking of the most important recipients of Polish exports throughout Latin America. The value of exports to this small island country (more than PLN 2.7 billion) was higher than to such powers as Mexico or Brazil. And it’s all thanks to the export of vessels for the transport of persons or goods, tankers and cruise ships and other cruise boats. These huge vessels helped the Bahamas to jump from 42nd to 28th on the list of the consumers of Polish goods, according to data for the 3rd Q 2015.

New markets open. This year, Vietnam has opened for Polish apples and now Poland is one of only two EU countries (the other being France), which can send these fruits to the Vietnamese market. This year, the Polish dairy products also gained access to the Indian market. Poland is also getting closer to pork and apples export to China.
