Registration for the school year 2013/2014 for the project Polish Web Schools Libratus, which was a great success, has  ended.. This innovative educational project supports  Polesabroad in the education of their children and helps them to maintain contact with the homeland for four years. The study of the project is based on the philosophy of  home teaching, in which parents act as a tutor for their children. In the Polish Web Schools Libratus, we have the full curriculum at the level of Primary School and Middle School.

Through the use of new technologies it is possible to implement material from different classes in a convenient location and at any time. Every child using this form of learning, after

passing their examination, obtains a diploma. Despite heavy duty that lies on parents as a tutor for their child, the number of students increases every year. The project involves children from all over the world, among the students are people from almost every continent.

Opinions of parents whose kids use the free Polish education are encouraging. Mrs Olena from Qatar writes a blog: “As a result, my daughter has marked out work every week, and a number of lessons by the network. I appreciate it very much, because it is good that the child has a conversation on topics such as: equinox, aqueducts and adverbs, with other adults besides mummy. Without this school I would be already gray and without nails. Maybe my daughters also”. Mother of Ammar from Jordan, in turn, argues that the dream of a Polish school come true: “Polish school dream! A child can learn a designated course, the same with the parent who has the ability to use the materials on the Internet Educational Platform. He may take the exam in one of the partner schools in Poland and receive the real school-leaving certificate. And it’s all FREE. The only expense that you have to bear is the cost of textbooks. Too good to be true? No! ” According to Ms. Eve from U.S. “it is a very convenient way of educating children without the need for driving your child to remote sites”. Mr. John from the UK believes that “Libratus is the best school alternative to teach children the Polish language abroad.” There are plenty of such opinions. They are extremely valuable for school, confirming the belief that this initiative makes sense. Opinions of parents are also an important indication for  other families living abroad who want their children to be educated in their mother language.

Thanks to work with many organizations, the Polish media and partners, who participated in the action to share information relating to the registration for the school year 2013/2014, all available places in the Polish Web Schools Libratus have been filled. We are very pleased with the patriotic attitude of  Poles and their willingness to teach children in their mother language. We should cultivate this language, the treasury of our history and culture, let us teach our kids to speak Polish, so they keep their identity and individuality. Remember that it is never too late to learn the language, but it’s worth to start it as soon as possible.

Registration for the school year 2014/2015 will start in January 2014. This year, the project joined a large number of students who, after passing the classification exams, will be granted the opportunity to study in the next school year. The number of places for new studentsin the school year 2014/2015 will therefore be limited. Book a place for your child via the “Registration” on page www.libratus.edu.pl now!  All completed registrations to join the project will be selected to join the project on a first come first served basis.
