Summer Projector is an initiative launched in 2011 by the Archipelagi Kultury Association and the U.S. Consulate General in Cracow. The idea is very simple: good movies in beautiful and little-known places in the city, in a nice, relaxed atmosphere and absolutely for free. Screenings are shown in the original language version with Polish subtitles.

In August and July 2013 seven projections is held in unusual places. In addition to the parks and squares – in an empty pool, the Meadows of Nowa Huta, in the Garden of Experiences and the courtyard of Collegium Maius. The audience, as usual, can enjoy a large, open-air screenings on Sundays in July and August, and sunbeds, poufs, chairs and numerous additional attractions are waiting for them on the spot.

This year the cycle of events was launched by the special screening of Home – S.O.S Earth! during Picnic for Balance, an event organized in collaboration with the Kombinator club and Łaźnia Nowa Theatre.
