Every time the FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland attracts thousands of guests, which include the representatives of Polish and international media, designers, business people, celebrities, bloggers and fashion hotheads. This time it won’t be different – for six days between 19 and 24 April Łódź will become the capital of Polish fashion again.
During the spring edition the Designer Avenue, Studio and Off out Off Schedule will be dominated by new collections created by the best designers and brands. The special guest of this edition is Eva Minge who will present two of her collections.
On the Designer Avenue catwalk as well as in the Studio and Off Out Of Schedule projects we will see 10 collections that have been selected by the Programme Board. These include the designs by Marta Kuszyńska, Modelove, Malgrau, Klaudia Markiewicz, Khategat, Zwyrd, Anna Pawluk (AP), Ewa Leśniewska, Szczesny and Girl Little Boy. During the spring edition of the FWPL also the following designers will present their latest collections: Natasha Pavluchenko, Joanna Kędziorek, Jarosław Ewert, Wojtek Wyzy, Mateusz Pukło, MSL, Marion Roscher, Mary Gibucci, Agnieszka Bonisławska and Monika Ptaszek.
Shows by guests from abroad are already a tradition at the Fashion Week Poland. This time, as part of the partnership cooperation with European fashion weeks, we will be able to see the autumn/winter 2016 collections by Carlos Gill (Lisboa Fashion Week), Marta Wachholtz (Lviv Fashion Week) and Mladen Milovojevic (Serbia Fashion Week).
Apart from the shows, the guest of the FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland in Łodź will have a chance to see an amazing exhibition called “Gianni Versace – Private Collection by Antonio Caravano”. The original creations by this excellent designer, including those from the 1980s and 1990s presented on international catwalks by Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington, will be displayed in Poland for the first time. The exhibition has been organised as homage to Gianni Versace for the 20th anniversary of his death next year and was already presented in Monaco, Miami and Naples.
Between the shows the guest of the Polish Fashion week will be able to shop in the Showroom area where dozens of designers will offer their unique clothes, jewellery and accessories. This is also an excellent opportunity to meet and talk to the designers.
The Let Them Know series will feature training sessions called “The Factory of Opportunities – How to Discover Your Strong Points” by Ewa Mordalska and a block of meetings organised by Michał Wawrzyniak from Mentalway.
The 14th edition of the FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland will take place between 19 and 24 April at the EXPO Hall in 30 Stefanowskiego Street. See you there!
