The Polonik Association has a pleasure to invite everyone to the Polish Culture Days, which will take place on 13-16 March 2014 in Udine. This is the first event of this kind organised in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region.

The event is addressed to Italians, different minorities and Polish communities from the area.

The guests attending the Polish Culture Days will have an opportunity to meet with a special guest – Jerzy Stuhr. They can also watch four films he played in and see a photography exhibition devoted to his work (ZASP).

Together with the University of Udine, the organisers also invited a writer, Jacek Dehnel.

Moreover, the Polish Culture Days will be attended by Robert Marcinkowski – an architect, academic teacher, poet, artist, song writer, singer and photographer from Kraków. He will demonstrate a multimedia presentation together with some songs and guitar compositions called “The Landscape Poetry”.

The event calendar also includes the performance by a jazz band called JazZoom, which will play its latest compositions as well as some jazz versions of popular Polish music. After the concert there will be an integration jam session with Italian musicians organised.

Along with the Polish Culture Days there will be a few exhibitions presented: “Wieliczka Salt Mine”, “Poland and Italy under the same sky”, “Two countries, one world – my travels in Poland and Italy” as well as “My Gdańsk”.

The event is organised under the media patronage of  Link to Poland, TVP Polonia and Nowy Świat.
