The race commemorating the 330th anniversary of the Battle of Vienna and the march of Polish troops into Vienna will be held in September.

Start of the race: Będzin in Poland-Castle and castle grounds, on September 6,  2013 at 12.00

End of the race: Kahlenberg in Astria – Saint Joseph’s church, on  September 8, 2013 at 11.00 a.m.

The route is consistent with that which the King Jan III Sobieski followed. Relay race starts on Friday, September 6 in Bedzin, and ends on Sunday, September 8 at Kahlenberg near Vienna. Players in  hussar wings commence at the Castle in Bedzin at 12:00 and run for 48 hours non-stop, day and night, regenerating in the coach, which will always accompany them. In each city local environmentwell known athletes will join the group of runners.. The final will take place on Sunday, September 8 at. 11:00 in Kahlenberg.

Along the route there will always be the player and cyclist, who pilots the run.

Accompanying,i n the bus of hussar team will be a doctor,  physiotherapist, special catering for long-distance athletes, and tanks with water.

The accompanying media will report the run and compose  material for the film summarizing the gear.

To celebrate the feast of the above, Polish Post Office SA released a correspondence card with the date stamp that will be available in Post Office in Bedzin 1 on 6 September at the castle in Bedzin.   Stamps will be displayed on an occasional stand including 12 of the stamps indicating towns that John III Sobieski followed  with the hussars. Stamps will be available in the coming days at main post offices in different cities along the route: Będzin1 – Siemianowice Sl. 1 Piekary Sl. 1, Bytom 1 Nakło, Tarnów Mountains 1 1 Zabrze, Gliwice 1 Pilchowice, Rudy, Racibórz, Krzyżanowice and Cieszyn. We would like to mention that the stamp with the logo of the course has been issued by the organizer, which is a perfect complement of the philatelic asset.
