The study examined social and economic conditions, health, education, housing and the environment.
According to the report, Vienna is the world’s top city for quality of life. The Austrian capital was primarily appreciated because of public transport and cheap and comfortable housing opportunities. Vienna was followed by Zurich and Auckland.
What is interesting, New York did not make top 10 and was placed at 44th position. A surprisingly low were ranked also Paris (37th position) and London (39th position).
Top among the Polish cities was Warsaw and Wrocław. The Polish capital was placed at 79th position, and Wrocław – at 99th.
