Iberia Express has introduced flights between Kraków, the capital of the Małopolska province, Poland, and Madrid, the capital of Spain.

In February, 310,000 passengers were served at Kraków Airport – as much as 19% more than in February 2015. It was the best February in the history of the airport.
The investment works in the operational area at the Kraków Airport have been completed. They involved developing the airport apron and reconstructing the taxiways. The total space of renovated and constructed areas covers around 20 hectares, including the concrete surface of 15 hectares. Nearly 90% of all the works have been completed within the project co-financed from the EU Cohesion Fund (the Kraków Airport – Existing Infrastructure Development Project).
The summer schedule in Kraków Airport includes 60 regular flights to 57 airports in 18 countries and 14 charter flights. The wide range of flights from Kraków Airport guarantees a good selection of both holiday and business destinations. The summer flight schedule starts on the 29th of March.
EasyJet and Krakow Airport have launched a new direct connection Krakow – London Southend. Flights are scheduled four times a week – on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
335 129 passengers were handled at Kraków Airport in May, i.e. 2% more than in the same month last year.
