The decoration ceremony of the two renowned cultural animators took place just before a performance at the Kikker theater in Utrecht on 8th March 2014.
In his speech, Ambassador Jan Borkowski emphasized that in the case of decorations of Zofia Schroten-Czerniejewicz and Anna Kos-François, one can hardly imagine better place for such a ceremony. For years now both ladies are engaged in bringing Polish cultural heritage closer to the Dutch audience. Apart from its purely artistic activities, Scena Polska is reaching out to the Polish and Dutch individuals and cultural animators with its quarterly magazine “Scena Polska” and Mrs. Kos- François publishes a “Pol – Echo” monthly magazine focusing on the Polish community living outside of Poland.
The ceremony was followed by monodrama “My Brilliant Divorce” performed by well-known Polish actress Krystyna Podleska.
