According to the 28th Randstad and TNS Poland survey entitled “Employers’ Plans”, 35% of companies are planning to increase salaries of employees in the next six months. The survey shows that also plans to increase employment in companies remain at a very high level.

Mazowieckie is the most attractive province for investors and seven others improved their assessment of attractiveness in comparison with the previous year – the latest edition of the report “Attractiveness of Polish provinces 2015” shows. The result of the research were presented on 3 December during a press conference held in Regent Warsaw hotel.
As many as 98 percent of foreign investors in Poland would invest here again – shows the results of the 8th edition of the survey conducted by PAIiIZ in cooperation with the consulting firm Grant Thornton and global bank HSBC.
Polish Infomation and Foreign Investment Agency, TPA Horwath and BSJP have prepared a report on 7th “Wind Energy/Power Industry in Poland”. The premier of the report has coincided with the introduction of the Act of Renewable Sources of Energy. This new law regulation will replace the old support system based on green certificates with the auction model.
Poland is among the world leaders in outsourcing. The employment of 150,000-180,000 people in the BPO/SSC sector is the highest of any country in Europe and its annual growth is steady at 15-18%.
The annual value of the IT outsourcing market in Ukraine is over USD 1 bn. Employment in this industry exceeds 75,000 employees. Due to geopolitical factors, there have been an increasing number of Ukrainian companies opening their branches in Poland over last two years. Partnership-based cooperation means new jobs and stronger development of the industry in both countries, which are growing into European outsourcing leaders.
Poland jumped on 25th position in “Doing Business 2016” prepared by the World Bank. This is the best result Poland has ever reached in the report.
In the Grant Thornton ranking of the most dynamic business growth environments Poland moved up from 24th to 21st position, ahead of Japan, Hong Kong and France. Austria gained the same result, i.e. 61.1 points out of 100 possible.
On Tuesday, Deputy Minister Henryka Mościcka-Dendys presented the priorities of Poland’s upcoming presidency of the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS), which is set to begin on 1 July. The event’s special guest was Jan Lundin, Director General of the Council’s Secretariat.
