Like in previous years, the competition was addressed to entrepreneurs who offer highest quality products and services, who are innovative, who want to promote their distinctive character and who want to strengthen the image of goods offered on the Polish market. The competition was also open to municipalities, research institutes and companies that run innovative projects.

On 15 April, PAIiIZ announced the competition for designing the Polish Pavilion at EXPO 2015 in Milan. The contest also includes the design of the internal exposition in the pavilion and its surroundings. The Union of Polish Architects (SARP) is the Patron of the competition. The contest is aimed at architects.

Computer games developed by Polish designers and programmers have fans around the world, yet many of them are not aware of where the authors come from. The Polish Institute in Berlin wants to change that during the International Games Week in Berlin, a leading fair for programmers and players, by organising a one-day event on 10 April 2014 devoted to Polish productions, and an exhibition on the topic.

“Made in Poland” products are attractive and can successfully compete in the international market, being created in the country of “labour, passion, innovation, discipline, quality and competence”. These are the key messages from the new Polish governmental campaign promoting Polish brand that has been already launched.

On 16-18 October 2013 the International Fair of Fruit and Vegetables – Fruit Attraction will be held in Madrid International Fair of Fruit and Vegetables – Fruit Attraction. The fair, in spite of the its short, but only a three-year tradition, already enjoys great popularity among professionals in the industry, as evidenced year by year by the growing year by year the number of exhibitors. At last year’s event which wasthere were more than 1.2 thousand (an increase of almost 50 % compared to 2011 ).

Polish company Ursus signed the agreement with Ethiopian Metals and Engineering Corporation (METEC) of Agricultural Machinery Industry (AAMI) with headquarter in Adama (Oromia, Ethiopia) for the delivery of 3 thousand tractors. The value of the contract is 90 million USD. The project will be implement in two years time after its’ signing.
