Between 20 and 28 June 2015, fans in six Polish cities will have a chance to hear Dutch quintet Tango Extremo. On Saturday, 27th June, the Grammy Award Laureate Włodek Pawlik will join the band to play the one and only concert in the Fabryka Trzciny club in Warsaw. You cannot miss it, so see you there!

The main idea behind the “United States of Beta – Poles Jazz the World” record is openness to the world. It includes unique compositions, which take us into the world of musical diversity – ethno, jazz and chillout. It’s a distinctive mixture of influences and moods from the most distant places – from Scandinavia to Africa, from India to New York.

The new video called “Fight Club” is available from Friday, 13th February.

Czesław Śpiewa, well known Polish singer, composer and accordionist will visit Liverpool as part of the UK tour after visiting London, Bristol and Cardiff with his newest album “Book of Emigrants – Volume I”. The concert is hosted by Merseyside Polonia, a local Polish NGO organisation promoting Polish culture in the UK. The concert takes place at Parr Street Studio 2 on 23rd of January at 7.00 p.m.

Musicians from Iraqi Kurdistan took part in workshops conducted by the world-renowned Polish pianist Wojciech Waleczek. In Irbil and Dohuk, the Polish musician also performed the works of Frederic Chopin at classical music concerts, which are rarities in this part of the world. The event was initiated by the Polish Consular Agency in Irbil.

Dies Illa, Krzysztof Penderecki’s latest piece of music, has had its world premiere at an international concert in Belgium marking 100 years since the outbreak of World War One. The outstanding Polish composer dedicated his new work to all victims of that conflict.
