Innovative and functional Silesian artistic designs is shown at the exhibition entitled “Design It. In Silesia” in the Polish Institute in Berlin. The opening of the exhibition was held on 4th December 2014 on Saint Barbara’s day, i.e. the Miners’ Day.

Musicians from Iraqi Kurdistan took part in workshops conducted by the world-renowned Polish pianist Wojciech Waleczek. In Irbil and Dohuk, the Polish musician also performed the works of Frederic Chopin at classical music concerts, which are rarities in this part of the world. The event was initiated by the Polish Consular Agency in Irbil.

Roads to 1989. East-Central Europe 1939-1989, a travelling outdoor exhibition, is on display in front of the European Parliament in Brussels. It has been organised as part of a social and educational campaign titled Freedom Express.

“We congratulate you on this distinction and we are happy that your outstanding professional achievements, which contribute to promoting Polish culture, have been recognised on the international stage,” said the deputy chief of Poland’s diplomacy, Artur Nowak-Far, while presenting Urszula Dudziak with a letter from UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova on the decision to honour the Polish jazz artist with the UNESCO Artist for Peace title

The latest book by Szczepan Sadurski entitled „Wyjątkowa książka Szczepana” will be released in December 2014?

The book is held under the media patronage of Link to Poland.

The 10th Polish Festival at Federation Square, Melbourne’s central point, has featured four hundred artists from folk groups and Polish diaspora schools. The event was co-hosted by the Polish Embassy in Canberra and Polish Consulate General in Sydney.
