Over 250 of Polish post-war posters made by the most famous artists of the last century, film reviews by Agnieszka Osiecka, motion picture projection, meetings with artists will be held at the Poster Museum at Wilanów in October; it will be the world of the tenth muse. The new exhibition Feeling movie mood… Polish movie posters from the years 1945-1969 is an exceptional combination of image and poetry, which is accompanied by a number of events related to poster, film and others.

EMiGRA Festival is an innovative project encompassing two kinds of art: poetry and film, words and images. The 20th edition of the International Festival of Poetry “May at the Wilia and Vistula Rivers”at Vilnius in May 2013 has been integrated with the emigration film festival EMiGRA.

The 38th Gdynia Film Festival concluded Saturday, with the festival’s top prize, the Golden Lion, going to “Ida” directed by Pawel Pawlikowski, and the very next day the film won the FIPRESCI Special Presentations Award at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.

Polish choreographers Magdalena Ptasznik and Janusz Orlik will be in residence at Dance/UP Philadelphia and at Chez Bushwick in Brooklyn, NY, continuing an exchange launched in 2012 between Art Stations Foundation by Grazyna Kulczyk at Stary Browar in Poznan in western Poland and Dance/USA in Philadelphia.

Unstable weather did not discourage fans of music and Polish food to enthusiastically participate in the Taste of Polonia Festival, which took place during the weekend of August 30th to September 2nd, in the Copernicus Center.
