The latest book by Szczepan Sadurski entitled „Wyjątkowa książka Szczepana” will be released in December 2014?

Unique photographs from the archives of the European Solidarity Centre in Gdansk will be available from 28 August on the online Google Cultural Institute, a platform designed for displaying art on the internet. The virtual exhibition has been prepared by the Polish Institute in Berlin. This has been the first exhibition of such kind that has been born out of an initiative by a Polish foreign post.

One of the most magical light festivals in Europe – Bella Skyway Festival – will be held in Torun, between 26-30th August 2014. For those several days Toruń will be transformed by the means of light into a huge experimental laboratory. Installations presented during the festival will become time machines taking visitors into a breathtaking journey in the space-time.

Krzysztof Grzondziel from Mysłowice is the winner of this year’s edition of the All-Poland Satirical Contest “Manufaktura Satyry” organised by the City of Żyrardów. This year the subject was “Technology and invention.” As it was in the previous years, the subject referred to the city’s industrial past. The post-contest exhibition and award ceremony will be organised on the second Saturday in September in Żyrardów.

The contest was held under Link to Poland’s media patronage.

June marks the launch of an exhibition featuring nearly 500 posters selected for the 24th edition of the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw, a prestigious graphic design competition presenting artworks from all over the world, created in 2012–2013. On 7 June, the International Jury will announce its verdict. The exhibition will be open to the public until 14 September 2014.
