A candidature for the Pole of the year is put forward by the Polish organizations or groups of individuals. Submission of candidatures is done in accordance with the contest regulations. Elections are held in five categories: business, science and technology, culture, the young successful Pole and what is important Honorary Polonus – an award for Dutchman or Dutch organization which has an outstanding contribution to the integration of Polish people.
This article is devoted to the Miss Poland Contest in Benelux which was organised in order to improve the image of Poles living in the Benelux countries.
