Business conferences are held every year in Poland, Europe and other continents, where the broad spectrum of processes, fields of action, and the challenges facing the Shared Services Centers (SSC) are being discussed.

International events organized by IAOP, SSON, or Global Sourcing Association are examples of events in which both senior SSC executives and business support organizations meet, debate and define both trends and challenges they deal with every day.

The BSS Tour’s conference cycle organized by the Pro Progressio Foundation in 2017 from the very beginning included the event tailored to the needs of the SSC sector. Not a coincidence conference “New Challenges of Shared Services Centers” will take place in Poznan – a city that has been attracting successfully new investors from SSC, BPO, R&D and ITO industries for many years.

The Conference Agenda has been prepared in cooperation with the Adaptive Service Advisory Group and 4 Synchronicity – two Polish advisory organizations, whose experienced Managing Directors are currently assisting many international Shared Services Centers in transformations, migration, business process optimization and on many other operational areas.

Krystian Bestry (Adaptive) and Mariusz Szałaj (4 Synchronicity) during their discussion panels will focus on topics related to the strategy of shared service centers, transactional processes, competence centers and building of the GBS (Global Competence Center).

These discussions will be followed by the subject of automation and centralization of processes, as well as discussions on current SSC challenges. Experts will focus on the issues of possible legislative threats, support coming from local governments in the development of SSC structures and will try to find the answer if international reports indicating locations for operational centers are being objectively prepared? The special guest of the conference will be the expert of the world’s largest association of modern business services (IAOP) – Mr Serge Librot, Senior Consultant LivIT from Brussels.

The conference will be conducted in Polish and English with two-way simultaneous translation. As in previous editions of The BSS Tour, participation in the “New Challenges of Shared Services Centers” conference is free of charge, but requires registration. Participants in the conference may be representatives of shared service centers and institutions directly linked to the SSC industry.

The IAOP and German Outsourcing Association are the Partners of the BSS Tour Poznan conference. The event is also supported by international and industry media, including Emerging-Europe, Outsourcing-Journal, Link to Poland, Poland Today, QBusiness.pl, OutsourcingPortal.eu, Best2Invest.org and Outsourcing&More Magazine.
