May 3, 2013 at the Castle Square in Warsaw, over 200 people were dancing the polonaise with dancers of the Song and Dance Band from the Warsaw School of Economics. Children dressed in costumes of the age of Duchy Warsaw and noble robes presented dances from their repertoire, and then invited to a dance all the people from Warsaw and many tourists. At first, most people just watched the dancing, but as time goes by, next pairs spontaneously joined in. Patriotic Society was the initiators of this way of handling the National Day of the Third of May. We hope that the such a joyful and Poles- unifying event will become the tradition since this year.
