Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, announced a new route from Santander to the capital of Poland, Warsaw. The new service will commence on 31 March and operate with two weekly flights, on Mondays and Fridays.

The airline believes that the new route will stimulate the local job market in aviation and tourism sectors as consumers can now travel between Cantabria and the Polish capital on very low fares. Wizz Air’s newest service will be operated from Warsaw’s main airport, Chopin Airport, with one of the airline’s new state-of-the-art Airbus A321ceo aircraft, which is the most efficient single-aisle passenger aircraft.

Seats on the new Santander-Warsaw route are already on sale.
