This year the theme of the International Kids’ Carnival Venice is music. The exhibition Plastic is Fantastic! Laboratorium 3R – Recycle, Reuse, Reduce created by Tomek Wójcik, a Polish designer, will showcase music instruments made from recycled plastic, plastic armchairs, an igloo and glowing objects. Children will be able to create their own plastic works of art during Laboratorum 3R workshops organised on the sidelines of the exhibition. They will later become incorporated into the exhibition.

The Plastic is Fantastic! Laboratorium 3R Recycle-Reuse-Reduce project was created for the Venice Biennale by Fundacja Fly with Art in collaboration with Wytwórnia21 and the Polish Embassy in Rome.

The International Kids’ Carnival Venice, a side event during the Venice carnival, enriches it with an art education offer for the youngest participants of the event. Poland is participating in the kids’ carnival for the second time. In 2011, it showed an exhibition titled: Childishness: Polish Design for Children.
