The core of the event program was a fashion show presenting Polish fashion designers collections, including clothes designed by professors and students of Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, Fashion Week Poland, Bialcon company and PtakModa Group.

Moderators of the event were Dionisios Sturis, Polish journalist, author of many articles devoted to Polish-Greek relations and Magdalena Christofi, Managing Director of Fashion Week Poland in Lodz.

During the gala awards in the contest for best essay about Poland were presented to the winners – students united in Erasmus Students network Greece and pupils from the Polish School in Athens “Zygmunt Mineyko”.

The event was attended by over 300 people representing public administration, diplomatic corps, media, Polish community and Greek companies from fashion and beauty sector.

Beside the event, on 11th of December, Polish guests had the opportunity to take part in a seminar, organized by Enterprise Greece S.A., about conditions and possibilities of cooperation with Greek partners. They also visited several beauty and fashion companies in Athens. Parallel, there were a bilateral consultation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs devoted to cooperation in the sphere of economic diplomacy.

Professors from Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz had the opportunity to meet with the Rector of Athens School of Fine Arts and discuss the possibilities of cooperation within Erasmus+ program and other join artistic initiatives.
