This year’s book fair will bring together over 300 exhibitors. The Polish Institute in Vienna will be showcasing Polish literature in German, including fiction, reportage, children’s books, albums and guidebooks to Poland designed for German-speaking readership.

For the purposes of the event, the Polish Institute in Vienna has issued a special publication with reviews of books that will be featured at the fair, and a presentation of Wroclaw as the European Capital of Culture 2016.

On 3 December 2015, the Polish Institute in Vienna will host an event dedicated to the German translation of Witold Szabłowski’s reportage from Turkey It’s Out of Love, Sister. It will be part of the Martin Pollack series.

It is the fourth time the Polish Institute has taken part in the Buch Wien 2015 International Book Fair. Festival attracted over 38,000 visitors in 2014. The eight edition of the Vienna fair offers a good forum for cultural dialogue with countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
