New technologies enter Poland country more and more boldly and it’s no surprise that Polish producers started to be interested in popular drones. In this way the perspective of flying drones-couriers and unmanned aircrafts used by the army is becoming a fact also in Poland.

Certified flying

Poland, as the first country in Central Europe, started to produce unmanned aerial vehicles.

Flytronic is a serial manufacturer of FlyEye drones and Skyranger aircrafts. Thanks to the certificate it is also allowed to make prototype FlySAR unmanned airships as well as other aerial systems that weigh less than 150 kg.

With a registration plate

That fact that Flytronic received the certificate also means the possibility of registering drones on the same basis as manned aircrafts. Unmanned systems are marked according to a key code – “SP” means the registration country (Poland), “X” – an unmanned aerial vehicle and all the remaining symbols are given by a company.

The first officially registered Polish drone was Manta by the company from Gliwice.
