Last weekend (May 4-5), after the pompous parade on May 3, the celebrations of May 3rd Constitution Day were continued at two-day 3-May Day festival held in Copernicus Center. Spectacular performances, entertainment for all generations, delicious Polish food and beautiful weather attracted more than eight thousand guests to the Polish diaspora cultural center.

On the first day of the festival on the outdoor stage could be seen a dynamic 30-person formation Mucca Pazza, a rock trio July, Nu Bambu and Hudobni quartet, and more. A legend of Polish music, group Perfect, played on the evening finale. On Sunday appeared, among others: Media Sound Band, Black Bear Combo, “Przystanek Polskie Granie” group, and at the end of the day – and the festival – a reggae Rebel Roots.

Sunday brought an extensive artistic program on stage in theatre of the Copernicus Center. The Song and Dance “Polonia” group presented a historical spectacle “Kazimierz Pułaski – Hero Of Two Nations”, and the Padarewski Symphony Orchestra with the Academy of Music presented a musical show “The Marry Adventures of Matołek the Billy-Goat”. A Song and Dance Ensemble performed “Wawel” and a Choir in the name of I. J. Padarewski. The festival organizers have also prepared a lot of activities dedicated for children in the Annex hall, including a play “King Krakus and the dragon” of the Theatre Workshops “Little Stars”

See you next year!
