Pre-war Gdańsk, perfectly combining the features of a charming city with a powerful centre of port industry, in April 1945 was turned into 3 million cubic metres of debris by the Soviet army. Slowly, thanks to the persistence of new settlers – mainly from former Polish lands that after the war were annexed into the Soviet Union – from this sea of ruins again began to emerge the former shape of the city.

We invite to Justyna Kisielewicz’s art show in Burlingame, California at Andra Norris Gallery (1107 Burlingame Ave) – Saturday July 29th, 6-8PM. There will be a chance to look at good art, meet the artist and make a an awesome investment.

Polish-Canadian Education Centre has been launched. Newly created Polish diaspora organization shall act primarily for the sake of integration between Polish and Canadian environments. The founders’ objectives are to include in their initiatives not only Polish diaspora but also Canadians.
