Paris is certainly one of those places where architecture, art and atmosphere are a perfect background for love. The story of its different representations and feelings that come along with it, transferring love into the language of fashion, has been captured by Ewa Gawkowska and Małgorzata Szczęsna, the La Metamorphose brand designers, in their latest collection. Their “Rouge Amour” had its premiere on the 1st of July at the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week AW 2019/2020.

During the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week top designers and renowned fashion houses regularly present their collections. These include Christian Dior, Giambattista Valli, Giorgio Armani, Jean Paul Gaultier, Chanel, Versace, Valentino. Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode also selects and supports new brands which, in its opinion, have a potential to create the future world of fashion. An invitation to participate in the Paris: Haute Couture event and an opportunity to present one’s own collection is a great honour. This time it was granted to Ewa Gawkowska and Małgorzata Szczęsna, two sisters who make up the La Metamorphose brand.

Waleria Tokarzewska-Karaszewicz – designer, last year graduate from the Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design (SAPU), laureate of the SEAT and FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland competition, is talking with Link to Poland about her new collection, work and road to success.
Studio Project at the FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland is an opportunity for young and talented designers recommended by the Programme Committee to present their collections. One of the laureates at the 13th Fashion Week Poland was Marta Kuszyńska. She presented her Shiraz Collection, which refers to the abundance and flair of the Middle East. Silk, organza, cotton with satin finish, jacquard, lace, manually sewn sequins and ornaments, attracted the attention and delighted everyone gathered at the fashion show.
After the show we asked Marta Kuszyńska about her collection, inspirations and plans for the future.
The best Polish and international designers will present their premiere collections for spring and summer 2016 during the 13th edition of the FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland. It will take place between 12 and 15 November 2015 in Łódź.
