History does not have to and should not be boring. Our Polish history is simply fascinating. The Nowoczesna Polska Foundation has selected seven works of Polish literature which will serve as an example of what is important and remains unchanged. Within the “Listen Everywhere” Project there have been several podcasts recorded. They will tell you about the connections between history and literature.

The project is held under Link to Poland’s media patronage.

The Museum of the Second World War was formed on 26 November 2008. Gdańsk, the city where the war broke out, was selected to be the seat of the institution. The Museum’s future home is being built at Wałowa Street near the centre of the city. Its opening is being planned for 2016.
