On January 27, 2015 we commemorate the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Nazi German concentraction and extermination camp Auschwitz.

From the 9th of October in the UK and Northern Ireland, we’ve had the opportunity to watch dozens of Polish short films, features and animations during the Play Poland Film Festival. One of the features – ‘Kebab & Horoscope’ has already won over London audience, where the jury of Raindance Festival awarded it the Best Feature Debut. The director, Grzegorz Jaroszuk, born in 1983, graduated from Łodz Film School, which is currently the cradle for nurturing the talent of young Polish film-makers. He’s already gained impressive experience, contributing to the creation of many shorts films and features. Past editions of Play Poland Film Festival, have shown his widely recognized short film – ‘Frozen Stories’. Now it’s time to present his first feature film.
