On September 24th, Dutch pianist Rogier Telderman will head to Poland for a clubtour with his trio. They will perform at some of the most prestigious of Polish jazzclubs such as the 12on14 club in Warsaw, the legendary Blue Note in Poznań, Piec’ Art in Kraków and jazzclub Vertigo in Europes cultural capital Wrocław.

The clubtour is held under Link to Poland’s media patronage.

The main idea behind the “United States of Beta – Poles Jazz the World” record is openness to the world. It includes unique compositions, which take us into the world of musical diversity – ethno, jazz and chillout. It’s a distinctive mixture of influences and moods from the most distant places – from Scandinavia to Africa, from India to New York.

The new video called “Fight Club” is available from Friday, 13th February.

“Jazz na ulicach” (Jazz in the streets) – the latest record by Maria Sadowska – is all about open, modern and energetic dance music that combines different influences but with rhythm always in the lead.

Michał Rudaś – a pop, raga, ethno and soul singer fascinated by the music and culture of India is telling us about his participation in the United States of Beta Poles “Jazz the World” project.

I was supposed to write an article about Polish jazz. Soon after I promised the creators of Link to Poland this article I realized I’ve chosen a mission impossible.
