“This is a symbolic day, a day when after many years an important medieval manuscript returns to a place it comes from. What’s also symbolic is that we can reach to our origins, and that we’ve managed to bring this document back to Plock together,” Minister Grzegorz Schetyna said during the handover ceremony of the Plock Pontifical.

“It is my pleasure today to hand over some really valuable pieces, entrusted to the MFA by emigrants, to the collections of our two museums. Though they couldn’t do it in person, the donors wanted to enrich Poland’s cultural heritage,” Deputy Minister Henryka Mościcka-Dendys said during today’s ceremony at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
