Every year, on one of the spring weekends, pedestrians crossing the Tower Bridge towards the South bank witness a remarkable sight: the usual greenery of Potters Fields Park suddenly blooms with myriad colours, as thousands of Poles gather there to participate in the Days of Poland Festival – the UK’s biggest event promoting Polish culture. This season will be no different: the fourth edition is set to take place on Sunday, 30 April on the usual site and with the very same idea – to come together for a true Polish Majówka!
The very popular Polish Festival returns to Seattle Center on July 11, 2015 as part of Festal cultural programs. Come explore and experience Polish cultural traditions and contemporary achievements through live music, dance performances, workshops, exhibits, and more.
The Festival is held under Link to Poland’s media patronage.
In February Link to Poland began a series of online meetings on the image of Polandin the world. The guest of the first meeting was Mateusz Jarża – founder and director of the Play Poland Film Festival.
“We congratulate you on this distinction and we are happy that your outstanding professional achievements, which contribute to promoting Polish culture, have been recognised on the international stage,” said the deputy chief of Poland’s diplomacy, Artur Nowak-Far, while presenting Urszula Dudziak with a letter from UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova on the decision to honour the Polish jazz artist with the UNESCO Artist for Peace title

Kapela Banachy is a musical family from the Dutch town of Heerlen. In love with the folklore of their homeland, they draw from it in a very special way in numerous traditional songs from southern Poland (Babia Góra, Beskid Żywiecki, Podhale, etc.). On the 25th of June 2013 Małgorzata and Eugenius Banach have been awarded with the Golden Cross of Merit.

May 3, 2013 at the Castle Square in Warsaw, over 200 people were dancing the polonaise with the dancers of the Song and Dance Band from the Warsaw School of Economics.
