Pierogi, bigos and kiełbasa – these words no longer sound foreign, as Britons become increasingly more familiar with the Polish cuisine. According to Mintel, a tenth of the population inhabiting the British soil now eats Polish foods, and the trend is bound to grow as the products’ availability sparks a new fashion, where dishes originating from Poland enjoy a renaissance of popularity similar to that of the Indian or vegetarian cuisine in previous years.

During the Promotion of Poland we have organized herbs workshop. It provides a unique opportunity to compose your own mixture or create scented sachets to fill your living room with aromatic smell.

Excellent examples of Polish design schools acclaimed around the world will be presented during the exhibition “Designed in Poland” from 21 to 26 September 2015 at the Limbecker Platz shopping mall in Essen, Germany.

Żurek, pickled cucumbers, sauerkraut… although Poles find these foods appealing, to the rest of the world these flavors are not so familiar. So, if you are Polish and aim for success in the restaurant business, you need to break away from the stereotypes. As an inspiration for Polish entrepreneurs, Piotr Nowak prepared a review of several successful Polish restaurants which have charmed the residents of Berlin, the city proclaimed by many to be the European capital of avant-garde culture.

More than 30 most recent Polish inventions will be featured at the exhibition New Technologies – Discover Poland, which opens at Modulab in Bucharest on 16 May. The event has been organised by the Polish Institute in Bucharest.

Polish products are quite well-renowned in Canada – dumplings, cabbage rolls, potato pancakes, cheeses and sauerkraut have become a hit with the Canadian tastes, and authenticity and uniqueness speak for them. In the future, the increase of the Polish presence on the Canadian market can be facilitated by the free trade agreement between Canada and the European Union.

Like in previous years, the competition was addressed to entrepreneurs who offer highest quality products and services, who are innovative, who want to promote their distinctive character and who want to strengthen the image of goods offered on the Polish market. The competition was also open to municipalities, research institutes and companies that run innovative projects.
