The 13th edition of the Body/Mind International Modern Dance Festival will be held in Teatr Sudio, Teatr Powszechny, Zachęta and public spaces between 18-28 September 2014.

Like each year, the Festival will include performances by artists from all around the world, representing countries such as Iceland, Belgium, Turkey, Switzerland, France, Germany, Portugal and Poland. The agenda also includes Polish premieres and co-productions. Altogether, the B/M audience will be able to see 10 performances, have access to installations and participate in workshops and discussion panels with the artists.

“This year’s edition will focus on issues such as society vs. the individual, emergence of small communities and networks. We want to examine more closely modern forms communities take as well as dynamics that shape these direct, inclusive and non-hierarchical groups that bear the potential for social transformation.” –Edyta Kozak, B/M artistic director, explains.

The poster for the 13. edition of the B/M Festival was created by Lech Rowiński, who has worked together with the Foundation for many years now.

Participating artists: Olivier Dubois, Ana Borralho, João Galante, Alessandro Sciarroni, Martin Schick, Les Choses de Rien, Heine Røsdal Avdal,Yukiko Shinozaki,Mustafa Kaplan, Filiz Sızanlı,  Iza Szostak, Karol Tymiński, Zorka Wollny, Wojtek Ziemilski, Felix Ott,  Edyta Kozak, Erna Omarsdottir, Valdimar Johannsson, Vaida Braziunaite, Ausrun Magnusdottir.
