The Museum is a vibrant centre cultivating Poznan’s tradition and culture. This is the place to be for everyone who wants to know Poznan better and quickly become familiar with its symbols, dialect and especially the famous St. Martin Croissants. The Poznan Croissant Museum creates a friendly and casual atmosphere and ensure its guests have fun and enjoy this hands-on experience.

St. Martin Croissants are unique local pastries with white poppy seed filling which have enjoyed the status of Poznan’s ultimate sweet treat for the last 150 years. As a product with Protected Geographical Indication recognised by European Union, St. Martin Croissants may only be produced in the Wielkopolska region and only according to a specific recipe.

During your visit to Poznan Croissant Museum, you will have an opportunity to listen to the legends about origins of St. Martin’s Croissants, find out about the ingredients and recipe, and – last but not least – taste the pastry yourself. You will participate in preparations of St. Martin Croissants and help the Croissant Master in using traditional confectionery utensils. As you climb the stairs, you will get a chance to look at photographs and press ads presenting fascinating history of this special local delicacy.
