The main purpose of the School is to inspire people of Polish descent to establish and strengthen contacts with Poles living in their homeland, and to use these in their future or present activity. An equally important aim of the School is to enhance their bonds  and identification with Poland so that they would more consciously direct their interests and activities towards Poland and Poles.

During the several days of their stay in Poland the participants of the School will have the opportunity to take part in meetings with representatives of the worlds of academia, culture, business, public administration employees, as well as young leaders and social activists. Visiting places and cultural landmarks connected with both past and recent history of Poland will also be an important element of the programme.

There are 12 places available for applicants who successfully enrol on the programme.

The school will take place in Krakow and Warsaw between 15 and 21 September 2013.
The participants must be 18 years of age. The Organiser covers the costs of accommodation, board, travel within Poland and costs of the programme.

The selection of applicants is based on the submitted CVs and completed application forms. The documents should be sent to pon@uj.edu.pl by 16 August 2013.
