When ambitious Polish teenager Anna leaves her home country to study at Oxford University she isn’t expecting to fall in love, and certainly not with two very different men. Both would affect her but one would haunt her forever.

Keen to move to the country in which her father grew up, Anna embraces her new life as an independent young woman and moves to England to pursue her passion, the architecture. She soon establishes a strong group of friends one of whom is a particularly intriguing, impulsive and playful young man….  Anna’s friendships are, however, relegated to the shadows when she meets millionaire ecologist Sergei Taredov, a British citizen of Russian descent, with a big ego and a serious plan to topple the supremacy of the world’s fuels magnates. Inspite of the scepticism of her soulmate Lorcan, she dives head first into a new life full of danger and surprises. Anna is completely under Sergei’s spell but soon finds herself totally out of her depth. Her powerful new husband guards many secrets but also has an great gift for being irresistible. By the time Anna realises that she has taken the wrong path it is too late. Or is it?  She reestablishes contact with Lorcan, whose presence helps to make life more bearable, but is this fair on all involved? New life now means to deal with difficult present: Sergei’s enemies, biofuel mafia, and a glamorous but malicious ex – wife. And then there’s Lorcan… Her first love, her true passion. Always there, waiting for her, no matter what. What and who will she finally choose and will it be really her choice? Where is the truth about the three people? What if the past is the key to understanding the present? What if Sergei is not who he pretends to be? What if she is not the girl she thought she was?

“The Plan” is, at its heart, a beautiful story of enduring love, forgiveness and redemption. It’s also Patrycja Gryciuk’s first book. She is Polish and she’s 36 years old. She lives in France with her husband and two sons, and works in Switzerland as a French teacher. Patrycja Gryciuk is passionate about writing, reading, ecology and biofuels. She originally wrote this story in Polish and self-published on paper in Poland. Within one year, unassisted and without any form of representation, the book was read by Polish literary bloggers and received very favorable reviews. Thousands of hits on Patrycja Gryciuk website and questions about the next novel pushed her to translate “The Plan” into English. Actually Patrycja Gryciuk is seeking for a literary agent who would help her to find a great publisher in English speaking country willing to publish her book.
