From the 3rd September to the 14th October the timetable for trains on the route Kraków Airport – Kraków Główny – Wieliczka Rynek-Kopalnia will be changed. Additionally, replacement bus lines will run between train departures. These changes are due to the modernization of train lines belonging to the Kraków communication hub by the company PKP PLK S.A.

Trains will run every 60 minutes on average, with additional replacement bus lines between each two train departures. Passengers who plan to travel to and from the airport between the 3rd September and the 14th October are advised to plan their journeys in advance.

The timetable will undergo the following modifications:
  1. trains to/from Kraków Airport station will run every 60 minutes on average (currently trains run every 30 minutes), some trains will run only to/from Kraków Główny station;
  2. for trains, the travel time between the airport and the city centre will be approx. 20 minutes;
  3. additionally, replacement bus lines will run between train departures. The buses will not stop at intermediate stops between the airport and the city centre (such as Kraków-Łobzów);
  4.   replacement bus lines will depart from the bus stop located in front of the passenger terminal (the bus shelter closest to Cargo terminal, in front of the passageway), and buses from Kraków will depart from Dworzec Główny Wschód bus stop (next to MDA bus station). Travel time for buses is approx. 35-40 minutes. Buses will travel through the Avenues, Królowej Jadwigi street and Olszanicka street. Passengers who wish to use the replacement bus lines need to carry a valid train ticket (one-way or monthly).
