Tell me how did your adventure with music start ?

I would like to start by saying that I was born in France and educated in  French schools. I didn’t know Polish rap, but I listened to the French. I wasn’t a big fan of his, I listened everything which fell into my ear. In High School I heard the first songs of Polish rap. It was a shock to me, everything that was transmitted and how it was made, it was very close to me. In two years drawn into rap and after some time when I listened to a song, I liked to add something from myself. I made up this song by myself. It was a simple game, which turned into a passion. In the first year of high school, we had an exchange with Spain. I hosted a Spanish rapper “Krosa”, who invited me to a common piece that we called ” Conexion “. I recorded the Polish and French. Later I bought a microphone, I had contact with people from Spain, who also do the music, and so it began.

Do you think, rap is a good way to promote Polish culture abroad ?

Absolutely, it’s not only music, but also interacts with people, trips, concerts, exchange of thoughts and ideas.  By doing this music, without being familiar, I manage to make contact with many rappers from Spain, Colombia, Venezuela and other countries. Not to mention France, where people from my surroundings are generally French with Polish origins, listen to my songs, watch clips, in which can be seen that my world is in Poland. On my new album are a lot of tracks with foreign rappers. They will play these songs and people will identify them as  Polish rappers. Maybe not on the highest level, but alwaysIi promote Poland.

Your French colleagues from the yard shouting at you “Pole “. What for you is being a Pole ?

I am a patriot – my parents brought meup this way. I lived with them in France from birth, and our whole family is in Poland. Polish language was the language that we used  at home or when visiting family in Poland. It was and is for me the language of peace, well-being, I never spoke with my parents in French. And when I drove to Poland, not counting the whole summer, at least twice a year – I felt very well  there.  Besides, the history of our country has always been for me  interesting and difficult to understand why so many had to suffer?  So that when the French people said to me, “Pole ” – I have no problem with it – I feel like a Pole. That is why my lyrics are steeped in the Polish character, I always try to represent our country and I missed it terribly.

In an interview, you said that “the love for Poland you have from birth and cannot remember the moment when you did not miss  Poland.”  What do you miss most?  How do you cope on a daily basis with this longing ?

I have always missed Poland, it is true. Poland is for me  home. A home, which is very far away , and I do not know why I have to be in France.  I feel like a modern Pole who goes abroad to earn money – it’s just that I have so from birth , and I went to school , not to work.  But the feeling is very similar. That’s what I miss the most, I can describe it in one word, ” Poland “, that is – everyday, food, language, way of speaking and of course for my family. Besides, I have a girlfriend in Poland, with whom I am planning a future together, so now my longing is at such a level that I cannot bear any more. How do I cope with this longing?  I like going to games, to visit family, to record in the studio, go shopping or walk. Such simple things make me happy. Sometime the friends in the yard whom I have known since primary school,  helped me.  They are like my brothers. Today each of us is studying elsewhere, we live in different places and is difficult for us to meet. In college, unfortunately, there are few interesting people. I come from the suburbs, and they have a richer environment, which is why I have little in common with them. But after a few years I have rap and this helps me a lot . To be honest as a man misses his life, he somehow gets used to this state . What to do? You have to wait and this is it ! But as I said before, just in my current situation, it is more difficult to do and the desire to live in Poland is huge. That’s why I go back there often.

26 October will be released your first album, “Sin Fronteras” (“Without Borders”). Can you tell us something more about it? The release of the album is probably also related to your musical plans for the near future ?

There will be two discs, on one disc are songs in Polish, and on the second disc in French. I have guests from Poland, Spain and South America. There will be a total of 30 numbers. This is not my first album, I had already recorded three, but I can say that this is the first fully professional recording.  All recorded in a decent studio, at a high level , in terms of both music and vocal.  Domestic imprints will not be allowed, only – professional imprints.

The album title is in Spanish, I did not know if it would sound better in Polish or French, so I chose – Spanish. I have a great fondness for the language and I started playing rap with a Spaniard.  And so the title ” Without Borders ” has with a connection with me – as a child I lived between the two countries and also came to Spain, mainly because of these people with whom I played, recorded and exchanged  pieces.  Dreams come true and I am glad that I was able to record this album.  Now I have to go forward all the time and do it better.
