After intense work on a model of activity based on the experiences of 14 similar organisations from Europe and North America, the participants spent two days on a study visit to Warsaw. They were guests, amongst others, of the Office of the Polish President, the Ministry of Finance, the Polish Chamber of Commerce, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they met with Under-Secretary of State Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz. The topics of conversation were mainly the possibilities of cooperation in the field of economical promotion of Poland abroad and the issue of building the positions of young, entrepreneurial Poles in countries they live in. School for Leaders heartily thank the YPCPA – the Young Polish Canadian Professionals Association for their cooperation in preparing and bringing about the project, all guests, the trainer Daniel Lichota for his essential contribution to the training, and above all the participants, for their engagement and strong will to introduce real changes in their the environments for which they work.
