The Copernicus Center invites you to a benefit concert by popular Polish band Ich Troje on Saturday May 3, 2014 at 8.00 p.m. with opening band Wishing Well (Derin Adeyemo – lead singer, Mark Florence – guitar, Sergiusz “Sergio” Zgrzebski – bass, Jonathan Beverly- drums).

Due to weather conditions over the past 3 years it was determined to hold the May 3rd celebration in the form of a concert in the theater. The doors open at 6.00 p.m.

 

Ich Troje (“The Three of Them”) is a Polish pop band. Ich Troje was founded in 1996 by songwriter Michał Wiśniewski and composer Jacek Łągwa.

The band had a few lead singers: Magdalena Pokora (aka Magda Femme, 1996–2000), Justyna Majkowska (2000–2003), Elli Mücke (2003) and Ania Wisniewska (2003–2010). At present, the band performs with Marta Milan.

Since 2000, Ich Troje has been one of the most successful Polish groups. They have sold more than 1.5 million records since June 2001, have given hundreds of concerts and won many awards. Their songs are typically about love, betrayal and break-ups.

Ich Troje represented Poland in 2003 and 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. They recorded eight albums:„Intro”, „ITI Cd.”, „3”, „Ad. 4”, „Po piąte … a niech gadają”, „6-ty ostatni przystanek”, „7 grzechów głównych” and „Ósmy obcy pasażer”.
