We cannot believe it – how did that happen? We rub our eyes in amazement, we count, we review, we view the pictures of our past concerts… Yes! Soon we will join the FIFTH edition of the London’s Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity! So many memories – fantastic stars, a fun, energetic atmosphere, but most of all, great people with big warm hearts! Thank you for being with us all these years. Together we have created something absolutely unique!
But this is not the end. Hurricane of Hearts’ team has been working hard for the last few months preparing another memorable event for you! On 10th January 2016 we are gathering in the well-known location by the GOCC’s audience – club SCALA at King’s Cross. The event will be divided into two blocks. From 13:00 our youngest participants will be taken on a fascinating journey through various countries and continents. In the program prepared by the Artistic Agency Prima of Ewa Dobrowolska-Gmitrzuk and Jaroslaw Gmitrzuk, children learn how look at Christmas traditions in different parts of the world. Welcome to the magnificent fun with Santa’s!
In the main part of the program, we will experience a truly explosive mix of music. For starters – the audience will be moved in a truly rock style by a Swiss band Daxx & Roxane. Fans of heavy metal also won’t be disappointed – something special for them is prepared by the group Night Mistress. Many of you is already familiar with the London’s based band Czapa, thanks to them we will enter into the rhythms of reggae. Continuing, we will hear the band Tabu who we spotted at the 20th Woodstock Festival – their performance earned them the Złoty Baczek. At the end we will return to the classic rock performed by the stars of the evening – Myslovitz band. At the same time we will have the opportunity to congratulate the team their 20th anniversary, which they have this year. There will be something to celebrate!
For all GOCC audiences in a dancing mood, we have prepared, as usual, the Isle of DJs. The evening will be hosted by DJ Tomass, Rafael Maur, DJ Arcadio, Jacek Trynkiewicz DJ Magic and Robert the DJ. After a crazy dance you should have something to eat and replenish your energy. The needs of all stomachs will be met by companies Morliny and Polish Product Limited & Euro-Wholesale – do not forget to bring along your overseas friends for these delicious Polish titbits.
A special attraction will be the performance of the Zespołu Pieśni i Tańca Tatra, thanks to them, our volunteers at the Scala will welcome you in beautiful folk costumes. If you are unable to join our event but you still would like to support the GOCC Foundation – our volunteers will be collecting money at many Polish shops, institutions and churches across London.
During the 24th Finale of the GOCC we will be raising funds to purchase medical equipment for the pediatric wards and to provide decent health care of seniors.
