“Cinema is most of all about the filmmakers: directors, screenwriters, actors, photographers. Usually, they receive public and media attention. But the success of cinema lies not only in its creators. It is also depended on the people who work everyday for its success, who are invisible to us and creators, whose passion, commitment and daily work makes the movies more understandable and more lovable. We dedicate Polish Film Institute Awards to people who run the cinemas, program them, write about the films and enable artists to enter into a dialogue with the viewer”. – Said Agnieszka Odorowicz, the director of the Polish Film Institute who thanked the winners for their work.
