The contest “Pole of the Year in Belgium” was created in 2007 in order to demonstrate the positive contribution that Polish people make in Belgium and to improve the image of the Polish community living there at the same time.
This year, the titles for the Pole of the Year 2014 will be awarded in the following categories:
– Culture
– Business activity
– Social activities
– Polish Diaspora’s Award
– Internet Users’ Award
and a Special Award for a person which has an outstanding contribution to the integration of Polish people living in the Kingdom of Belgium or who rendered great service to Poland.
The laureates of the “Pole of the Year 2014 in Belgium” contest will be announced at a special award ceremony on 14 November 2014 at Wolubilis Theatre in Brussels.
