23rd Woodstock Poland in Kostrzyn is now opened!
The weather was perfect and Jurek Owsiak welcomed all at 3.00 pm. Jurek thanked all at the festival for coming and expressed his gratitude for the 25th Grand Finale which took place in January.
Like every year he stressed safety and asked everybody to stay safe and take good care of each other.
Jurek also talked about inclusiveness of Woodstock Poland and stressed festival’s non-discriminatory stance with all being welcomed regardless of religion, skin color or political leaning which was met with applause.
However the applause was even bigger when he stated that he will not let anyone or anything stop Woodstock from happening.
In line with years old tradition the festival was opened by Roman Polański, Woodstocks own conductor accompanied by brass band playing “Glory Glory Hallelujah”. And glorious it was indeed!
