The Polonia Viva portal was created in 2009 with the view of Poles living in Germany. The main goal of the website is to provide information about cultural, political and social events that are important for the people living in abroad. Another important issue is the function of opinion forming, i.e. any comments, feature articles and other journalist forms. On the website you can find useful information about the events sent by Polish organizations, Polish groups and institutions which are active on an international level. The portal is a patron of many Polish events, such as: Polregionale, Polonicus, the Congress of Polish Organizations in Germany, symposiums, exhibitions, concerts and performances. The articles are published in Polish and German. On the website there are mainly articles of social journalists from various centers in Germany and Poland. Polonia Viva functioning in the field of online journalism is divided into several sections: culture, Polish diaspora, portraits, history, Polish language, office of Polish community, media, and young Poles.
