Polish Radio London – The only Polish speaking radio station in Great Britain which broadcasts 24 hours, 7 days a week. For the past 2 months we have been broadcasting through DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting). From the very beginning Polish Radio London has been in co-operation with some of the largest producers in Poland. Broadcasting straight from London we intend to start up relationships and co-operate with some of the largest producers and artists from Great Britain. Our aim is to promote your musical projects on our wavelengths.
Our programme is aimed at the young and active, with our target age group being 18 to 45 years old. This is why we play a lot of modern and latest tracks, but we don’t forget the older and well known songs and most importantly the Polish hits.
The Polish community living in London and the greater London area acknowledge that listening to their native music in England is the best option. The station’s format is AC, HOT plus in-house productions in Polish language.
Polish Radio London first started broadcasting on the 13th December 2006. The first few months leading up to our broadcasts through the DAB system we were playing our tunes through the Internet. Since launching on DAB our listenership rapidly grew. Nowadays Polish Radio station is the most popular and most successful station which targets the Polish community in London and Great Britain. With the help of the Internet we know that the Polish community living in France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Holland, Spain, Australia and even the US are all listening to us. Our weekly internet listenership is on average 80 thousand individuals. Our potential reach through DAB is on average 700 thousand individuals.
The mother company of PRL24 – Sara-Int is dynamically developing its involvement in Polish electronic media within Great Britain through establishing Polish Radio London and its Internet portal: www.prl24.net. In the next few months we intend to expand our broadcasting range to the neighbouring areas of London. Sara-Int is also the owner of Cooltura – the most popular Polish weekly magazine in Great Britain with the readership of around 280,000 readers every week.
At the beginning of 2008 we are launching two brand new programmes: “Dzien Dobry Londyn” (brand new breakfast show) and “Funtastyczna Kumulacja” (interactive SMS and phone in game show with the prospect of winning big money). Apart from that Polish Radio London plays the best music mix every day, 365 days a year.
