In the following days the passengers are asked to pay particular attention when using the check-in at Kraków Airport. Starting from Friday, July 1, there will be check-in desks both in the present (western) part of the terminal and in the newly opened eastern part. The two parts – the check-in hall before refurbishment and the new check-in hall – are separated by a wall.
The check-in desks in the newly opened part of the terminal are accessible from the footbridge – the passengers can use lifts or a comfortable moving ramp – and directly from the ground floor in the part of the terminal which was opened last year. The present check-in hall can be accessed from the outside of the building or via a tunnel between the refurbished part of the terminal and the old one.
Since the process of transferring the check-in desks to the newly refurbished part of the terminal has begun, we would like to ask our passengers to follow the signs carefully. The airport personnel and Need Help service (wearing characteristic yellow T-shirts) will provide information about these changes and will help our passengers during this period.
Starting from July 7, the check-in desks will be situated in the refurbished part of the terminal. On July 7, an additional security point will be opened too and our passengers will be able to use a new spacious business lounge, two food courts, shops and an additional gate. From July 4, passengers travelling to Schengen Area countries with PLL LOT, SWISS, Lufthansa, SAS International Airlines, Finnair, Aegan and Air France will be able to use an additional walkway.
