Starting 26 October the airline will introduce flights to Stuttgart, Germany, Zagreb, Croatia and Chisinau, Moldova and, as of 27 October, also to Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The services, which will be Eurolot’s first scheduled international flights, will be operated with Bombardier Q400 aircraft, designed to seat up to 78 passengers.
The services on the Warsaw-Stuttgart route will be offered seven days a week, with the journey taking a little over two hours. Planes to Zagreb will be operated seven times a week, to Cluj-Napoca – six times a week and to Chisinau – four times a week. Flights to the Balkan Peninsula will take about two hours. Flight timetables will be available on the airline’s website: www.eurolot.com.
“The “Balkan” routes are often described as niche, but also having a great potential for future growth in terms of tourism and passenger traffic. This was the case with summer flights from Poland to Croatia, which are now very popular with passengers,” said Eurolot’s CEO Tomasz Balcerzak.
Tickets to the new destinations can already be purchased via the airline’s reservation system, with return ticket prices starting from PLN 799 in the case of the “Balkan” routes and PLN 699 for Stuttgart.
Eurolot, launched in 1996, has been operating its own flights between Poland’s major regional airports since July 2011. The airline also offers charter and other flights for other air carriers, e.g. LOT Polish Airlines. Eurolot operates on 38 routes in Poland and Europe, providing direct flights from Poland to Croatia, Austria, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands, among other destinations.
